All Membership

All memberships fees (Junior, Senior and Associate) are paid annually and are for the current season which is 1 July - 30 June each year.

2023-2024 Junior Membership

Requirements

Junior Membership is for children aged 3-13 years.
Children must be at least 3 before 1 October in the year of the commencement of the season.
New members are required to complete SLSNZ Membership.
All Junior Memberships require at least one parent or guardian to complete SLSNZ Membership and must stay at trainings, including at the beach at the Sunday Sessions.

Includes

Membership includes participation in our Sunday Sessions during the warmer months (Labour Weekend - Easter Weekend) and opportunities to be involved in training for pool champs and carnivals throughout the season.

Junior Fees

• $160.00 1 Child & 1-2 Parents/caregivers

• $260.00 2 Children & 1-2 Parents/caregivers

• $280.00 3+ Children & 1-2 Parents/caregivers

• $ 30.00 Additional Equipment Levy for children 7-13 Years of age

2023-2024 Senior Membership

Requirements

Senior Membership is for members 14 years and over.
New members are required to complete SLSNZ Membership.

Includes

Membership includes being part of a Patrol Team and Senior & Master Pool Competitors.

Sport Fee

The Senior Sport Fee is additional to membership for all members training and/or partaking in surf sports, even if not competing.
A Sport Fee does not need to be paid if just competing in pool events.

Senior Fees

• $ 60.00 Senior Membership excluding Sport Fee

• $235.00 Senior Membership including Sport Fee

• $ 35.00 Surf Lifeguard Award (This is a one off fee which includes your training, manual, workbook and exam)

2023-2024 Associate Membership

Associate Membership gives you access to enjoy the Club’s Beach House Eatery Bar & Restaurant. SLSNZ membership is not required. You can pay and process your Associate Membership via the Orewa Club website online shop.

How to Join

Step 1 Complete Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) Membership

• All new Junior and Senior members are required to complete a one-off application for SLSNZ Membership via the SLSNZ website.

• If you are registering a Junior, a parent is also required to join.  Each member of the family wishing to join, must complete SLSNZ membership.

• Associate members and are not required to complete SLSNZ Membership, only payment is required, which can be processed via the Orewa website online shop.

• Membership renewals do not require completion of SLSNZ membership, membership is renewed via the Orewa website online shop.
