The Club has identified the need to prepare for growth and has planned for a new facility. The existing building is old and has passed its practical lifespan with functional limitations that restrict the club’s operations.

2019 SLSNR Pool Rescue Champions
Right from the start the 80 strong Orewa team competed hard and racked up a significant points total.
National records were broken across all age groups, and teams worked well together to secure numerous podium finishes in all sections.

mARK ‘doc’ JOHNSTON AWARDED LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Mark (right) gained his lifeguard award in 2006 and has been an active lifeguard since, as well as being a Surf Official, Instructor and Examiner.
We are proud to have him as our latest Life Member.

Orewa finish 8th club in New Zealand at the TSB Nationals, with all athletes in all areas contributing towards points.
