Friday, 22nd October,
Meet and Greet at The Club.
5.00pm – late
This will be an opportunity to catch up with old club mates back where it all began.   Have a few shandies, tell a few stories.  Remember, the older you get, the better you were.  The Club has a fully licensed professional bar service at a very reasonable price and gaming machines.
The evening will be informal; there will be old and new photos on display. The Raffles will be running throughout the night. Nibbles will be provided.

Saturday, 23rd October
Patrol
11.00am to 4.00pm
Come down and patrol for a while.  A fully functioning patrol will be on duty and we invite any past members who held their Surf Bronze to come to the beach and patrol for as long as you like, and put your name in the Patrol Book one last time.  Get a few photos, tell the juniors how it was in your day and then head off for a wee nap in the bunkroom, just like the old days.
Stay 10 minutes or more, and you’ll get a certificate to say that, once again, you kept the good people of the Hibiscus Coast safe from the ravages of the ever changing Orewa ocean.

6.00pm to 12.30 am
Reunion Ball. – Formal wear
This will be the main event of the weekend.   We have booked the newly opened Orewa Arts and Events Centre, at the Orewa College, for the evening’s entertainment.

6.00pm Doors and Bar open.

7.00pm – 9.00pm Formal part of the evening, with speeches, displays and dinner.
                                    
We will have on display all the old club trophies, and club memorabilia.
(“The Stick” may well be behind locked doors…….).  Also on display will be various rescue and competition gear. We encourage you to get your old team back together for photos with the gear.
                               
9.00pm – 12.30am Live band plays into the evening.

Sunday, 24th October
Have-a-Go Day, Formal Photo’s and “Debrief” in the Bar
10.00am to 2.00pm
This will be the final event of the weekend, and in true Orewa style will be relaxed.
We will have a range of competition and patrol gear for you to once more use.  Drive an IRB, paddle a ski, row a boat, sink a canoe, pull a hammy on the Beach Flags, the choice is yours.
Formal Photo’s will start at midday. We hope to get a photo for every decade, so it would be great to see you all.
Bring your speedos,  put your old team back together, have a few laughs, say goodbye to your mates and lets finish the weekend on a high note.
We will have a BBQ going all afternoon, to send you safely on your way home.
