Over the last 56 years we have saved over 1100 people from drowning. We have also performed countless other services to the community such as preventative actions, first aid and search and rescues. Last season Orewa lifeguards had the second highest activity (incident) rate in the Northern Region (Ninety Mile Beach to Raglan).
